Upad to Branch Out With London Private Rentals Website

Upad, one of the biggest online property portals for the UK, has taken the bold step of powering the search facility on the new website offered by the London Evening Standard. London Private Rentals – the new venture from the Evening Standard – is aimed exclusively at landlords wanting to find reliable tenants, and cuts out the use of a middleman letting agent entirely. Strangely though, the majority of the advertising on the listings website is from letting agents around the country.

It is hoped that London Private Rentals will offer a quality service with a simple £60 registration and referencing fee. Landlords can then advertise as many properties as they want to on the site, each of which can be listed with numerous photos.

Landlord James Davis, founder of Upad, said “Upad is thrilled to be working with Evening Standard to create London Private Rentals. The UK’s first professional direct-to-market rental solution, it will allow tenants to search properties directly from London landlords, and meet them personally in a fully supported tenancy process.

“Until now quality letting services have only been available through lettings agents. London Property Rentals changes everything, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
